At ICTP, in the HECAP section

Since September 2026, I have been a Pre-PhD (Postgraduate Diploma) student in the High Energy, Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics section at ICTP in Trieste. My central scientific focus is inflationary cosmology: using the earliest moments of cosmic history as a laboratory for gravity, quantum fields, particle physics, and the origin of observable structure.

The Diploma year combines an intensive advanced-theory curriculum with a research project and dissertation. For me, it is also a chance to place the questions I have been pursuing—Palatini and modified gravity, particle-physics embeddings of inflation, multifield dynamics, reheating, gravitational waves, and primordial relics—inside a broader high-energy cosmology environment.
